There’s a BIG problem in the SMALL town of Montezuma, Costa Rica: TRASH, and it’s mostly recyclables, like plastic bottles and shoes. It’s as if the problems from big cities like San Jose, Jaco, Paquera, and Tambor, walk themselves across water and onto the shores of otherwise beautiful beaches.
So I picked up a bag of shoes on my walk home from surfing for 4 days and I had so many shoes that on the morning of Friday, November 21st, these lost soles walked themselves through town in protest.
